23. March 2017:

Interwire 2017: Booth #359

May 8 - 11, 2017more

Boockmann will present their HELICORD® technology for wire and cable SURFACE PROCESSING and WELDING WIRE FINISHING, which during the past few years was implemented in industrial production lines. Very successful applications are removal of misprints from cable, removal of metal particles from strands for high frequency and submarine cables and removal of drawing lubricants and metal particles before extrusion. The most promising application is Welding Wire Finishing with simultaneous coating and removal of particles.
07. September 2016:

Wire China 2016, Booth W1G73

September 26 - 29, 2016

10. March 2016:

Wire Düsseldorf 2016: hall9, booth C34

April 4 - 8, 2016more

Boockmann Engineering GmbH will exhibit the new 2016 models of its HELILUB® technology for precision solvent-free lubrication of magnet wire, and the 2015 models of HELICORD® machines for surface processing of wire and cable, such as Welding Wire Finishing or removal of misprints from cable. The new HELILUB® models will also be suitable for non-abrasive cleaning applications on wire of diameters below approximately 0.2 mm. Both types of machinery were recently re-designed to be more robust and operator-friendly and will be on display at the booth.

Another exhibit diversifying Boockmann‘s product range will be their multi-wire cleaning machine, designed specifically for use in multi-wire lines, where space limitations do not allow using HELICORD® machines.

On the material side, Boockmann made new developments in Welding Wire Finishing, using fully wax-impregnated cords with a special separating component, that prevents accumulations of metal particles in the liner and contact tip. These newly developed materials also allow Welding Wire Finishing at high production speeds.

A demonstration of Boockmann‘s materials and technology can also be given at their facility in Bad Bocklet, Germany,  during the weekend and week after wire Düsseldorf, by prior arrangement. For information on participation, please contact Boockmann directly at info@boockmann.com.

Boockmann will present their still relatively new HELICORD® technology for wire and cable SURFACE PROCESSING and WELDING WIRE FINISHING, which during the past few years was implemented in industrial production lines. Especially successful applications are, amongst others, removal of misprints from cable, removal of metal particles from strands for high frequency and submarine cables, removal of drawing lubricants and metal particles before extrusion, and various cleaning and lubricating applications in special wire such as for food or medical use. The most promising application is Welding Wire Finishing with simultaneous coating and removal of particles. The latest development in cords allows direct transfer of active components to the wire, and thus eliminates the use of solvents previously required for extractive finishing.

The HELICORD® machine NB58W that will be displayed was designed specifically for these processes directly before the winder. A traversing process zone that can be connected to the traverse of the winder minimizes stress on the wire after the finishing process. An internal pump allows extractive application of various finishing materials, such as lubricants, corrosion inhibitors and arc stabilizers.

Boockmann‘s well-know HELILUB® technology for solvent-free lubrication of magnet wire is the most reliable method with respect to process stability, especially on high speed machines and wire intended for end use in hermetic compressor motors.

As a novelty, Boockmann now offers a multi-wire cleaning machine, which will also be presented at Interwire.

04. September 2014:

Wire China 2014, Booth W1E47

Also a part of Boockmann‘s range of products is their well-know HELILUB® technology for solvent-free lubrication of magnet wire. It is the most reliable method with respect to process stability, especially on high speed machines and wire intended for end use in hermetic compressor motors. After having reached the point of market saturation in Europe, HELILUB® is now experiencing a second spring in Russia and China.
